Recently I heard a news article on the radio about Craft Whiskey Distillers and was surprised to learn that there are over 200 micro-distilleries operating in the USA. A quick Google search later and I found that there are 4 distilleries within a few miles of my house and there are a number of whiskey festivals and tastings.

As soon we clear Halloween and turn back the clocks it seems as though the holidays are at the top of everyone minds. But this is not entirely true.
